"This fabulous art piece has been in the family for over a hundred years, and the cleaning lady broke it!!"

If you have crystal, glass or ceramics that have been chipped or damaged in other ways don't fret.  Bring your damaged treasures to Crystal House.

You will understand why customers who need repairs on crystal/glass and ceramics are sent to us from major department stores and specialty shops.

The crystal and glass are usually repaired utilizing a 3-step process, i.e., cutting, grinding and polishing. In the industry, we call it cold glass work.  Furnaces, torches and kilns are not used for repairs.  That would be hot glass work where glass is actually melted.  So, if you have holes in your glass they cannot be filled. However, we can grind a piece down to eliminate a chip. Often, we can replace an entire base.

We can also professionally bond together broken pieces using a process that requires ultra violet lighting. Only pieces that fit perfectly can be effectively repaired using this process.  It is not unusual to implement a combination of cutting, grinding, polishing and bonding to repair crystal/glass. Nor is it unusual for us to redesign glassworks into new works of art if needed.
